Find Assistance

Helping Hands of Goose Creek is an emergency food pantry providing groceries and resources to families of Goose Creek and the Low Country Tri-County.  We currently serve nearly 500 families a month between the 4 programs we offer.

ALL families qualify for our Choice Pantry Program and receive fresh produce, frozen meat, bakery products and toiletries and can shop in our mini grocery store where they can choose a predetermined weight of non-perishable items to take home for their family.

SUBSIDY’s Available at Helping Hands:

  • If a family’s income meets the TEFAP income guidelines (TEFAP LINK), they would qualify and receive our USDA food subsidy as well.

  • If the family is considered an ALICE family (ALICE LINK), they would qualify for our ALICE subsidy, which removes the USDA subsidy and offers a $50 community funded grocery gift card.

  • If a family includes a senior that falls in line with the CSFP income guidelines (CSFP LINK), they would qualify for a Senior Box which equals about 35 additional pounds of food each month.
